The advocacy and education of birthing persons shape their experience and promotes healthier outcomes during birthing experience. It is important for families to know their rights, understand evidence based and best practice cultural knowledge in their birthing choices and options, and ways to help advocate for themselves throughout their perinatal journey.
Our classes are informative and we provide evidence based data to support families as they navigate the changes with Covid-19 policies, rights and their birthing experience. We promote genuine, authentic consent. We uphold cultural best practices as a valid options and practice of care through generational knowledge sharing and evident cultural affirmation.
Our families are encouraged to seek support through doula provider services, which we work with our perinatal coordinator to provide resources. We look forward to you joining us in our 5 topic series learning.
